MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE First of all, I have learned many things from Ma'am Joy. I like the way she teach and I love her Powerpoint presentations. That's all HAHA! Without further ado, let us start. I have learned how to be a successful entrepreneur. Ma'am Joy also discussed the skills we have to apply in ourselves in starting a business and to be successful. We also discussed about eggs and its anatomy. I have learned that the color of the egg depends on the breed of the chicken. I have also learned that eggs have 17,000 tiny holes! Wow! I've also learned the different kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment in cooking egg dishes. We also tackled grains and wheat and its nutritional facts, also the anatomy of grain. For my experience. my first quarter is challenging, I had chicken pox and to get good grades is difficult because I have missed some topics. This next quarter, I'm going to focus and its pay back time to have good grades. I'm looking for...

My Second Quarter

Hi again everyone! I'm back for an another amazingly great experience that happened this Second Quarter. So let us start! So our first topic is about preparing vegetable dishes properly. On preparing vegetable dishes, we should know the different characteristics of quality vegetables used on our dishes. There are two proper way of thawing vegetable which are boiling vegetables in 1/2 to 2/3 cup of water about 7-10 minutes, and microwaving or stir-frying vegetables by placing them directly in 2 to 4 tablespoons of water for 4 minutes. There are also different market forms of vegetables. It could be Fresh, Frozen, Dried or Processed. There are two methods of cooking vegetable dishes, Dry Heat Method and Moist Heat Method. In Dry Heat Method, we cook vegetables by Grilling/Broiling, Baking, S aut e ing, and Deep-Frying. In Moist Heat Method, we cook vegetables by Blanching, Parboiling, Poaching/Braising, and Steaming/Simmering. Below, is our vegetable dish made for our ACES Bra...

ACES Number One!

Image
The topic for our dish this First Grading is "Egg", so my group had decided to make a Toasted Egg Sandwich for our performance task in ACES number 1. For the ingredients and tools we have to use, I had assigned them to bring the "things-to-bring" for the egg dish we're making. I also reminded them to bring their own apron and hairnet, and also garbage bags for a proper disposal of garbage. Without further ado, let us start the procedures. First, we have washed the vegetables we need then we cut it into tiny pieces, also the hard-boiled eggs, for the spread. Next, we cut the breads in triangle shapes and toasted it in Gozon's toaster. While toasting the breads, we are preparing the spread made of mayonnaise, eggs, vegetables, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. When the breads are toasted, we made a sandwich filled with delicious spread and plated it in clean white plates. Galinato used remaining vegetables and cut it to make shapes for the plating, making it ...

"Batch 2013-2014"

Solid Rock Learning School's Batch 2013-2014, the most stable and strongest friends I've ever had. Since our graduation, we always prepare and having a reunion, every year, twice every 6 months. We are, probably, the geniuses in our elementary days there at SRLS. In our high school, we've decided to take the challenge as high school students. I have decided to enroll at Fiat, because it is near from home. My "bespar", Ronelo, decided to enroll at Maranatha. My other classmates enrolled at the Rogationist, while our valedictorian was granted scholarship at the Lyceum. But, it doesn't matter how far or how each school is so distant to each other, the relationship between us friends will remain. So memorable.
